The reason of scholarship award

Committee said “In the end, we agreed on selecting both Andrew David Byrd and Casey B. Griffin for the Scholarship. Both students impressed us with their academic performance and their research progress measured in terms of publications and presentations given. In Andrew’s case his success in classes outside of his major (METR and CS) is particularly notable and in Casey’s case the mentoring of an UG student stood out.”
