Weather as the Hub. Driving the Loop with the Community.
Since our founding, we have held firm to one conviction: to be of service to people in times of need. Through co-creation between our business activities and the communities we serve, and through social contribution initiatives that bring our staff, users, and local communities together, we protect lives, society, and the planet, working toward a sustainable and prosperous future.

Social Contribution: Weaving Bonds Between People and the Earth, Together with Our Supporters
We introduced a paid Volunteer Leave system to help employees act on their desire to give back to society. This system encourages participation in volunteer activities such as disaster recovery and forest conservation.
In response to the Noto Peninsula Earthquake, beyond on-site debris removal, we partnered with Weathernews app users to carry out the Memories Photo Support Project. Working photo by photo, we cleaned and restored irreplaceable images salvaged from the disaster area. Through this experience, employees and users alike found deep meaning in directly supporting those affected, which not only strengthened awareness of disaster prevention and mitigation, but also reminded us that human connection is one of our greatest sources of strength.

True to our founding philosophy of being there for people in times of need, we responded to the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake by launching a special support website offering the latest local weather and disaster information, completely free of charge. We also provided our corporate weather information services and Soratena Pro® weather IoT sensors to municipalities and companies involved in recovery efforts at no cost. Additionally, we supplied specialized weather information for drone operations to support the delivery of supplies throughout the disaster response.
